With significant training and numerous certifications, there is one critical certification that he completed in 2002 after the 9/11 disaster, that compliments his analyst skill-set as related to this book. It is the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) which gives him extensive insight into disasters, recoveries, and “mitigation to prevent disasters”. Jones greatly expanded his science background as an Agriculture Science Teacher especially as related to Zoonotic pathogens and other animal viruses, bacteria, and parasites as he refers to in several chapters.
